          Porkstars Challenge - Promoting Vietnamese cuisine with American Pork

 

       Continuing the success of the competition "Porkstars Challenge-Season 1". On September 11, 2023 at The Asian and European Kitchen Vocational School held the final round of the competition "PORKSTARS CHALLENGE SEASON 2"  with the participation of 8 excellent contestants after surpassing more than 100 contestants are professional chefs and students of formal culinary training schools from regions across the country.

      Purpose of the contest to create a useful playground and acknowledge the creativity of Vietnamese chef in the application of American Pork to Vietnamese cuisine. The competition is organized by the US Meat Export Federation, Indiana Soybean Alliance, Indiana Corn Marketing Council in collaboration with the Saigon Professional Chefs Association.

      For a long time, the United States has developed an effective system from raising, slaughtering, and distributing pork. American pork is famous for its top quality and delicious taste due to a nutritious diet, nourished with grains such as corn, soybeans, barley, sorghum, oats, etc. They are raised in scientifically designed cages to avoid diseases and minimize stress for pigs when going to the slaughterhouse. All are strictly managed by USDA (United States Department of Agriculture).
