The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Vietnam General Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Physical Education of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Basketball Federation, and the City Department of Internal Affairs. Hanoi, Hanoi Basketball Federation, Sports Training and Competition Center, Hanoi University and Professional Sports Association, representatives of the Department of Agriculture Foreign Service of the US Department of Agriculture and nearly 200 athletes from 40 clubs and a large audience in the capital.
