Benefits of NONI FRUIT
In Vietnam, Noni Fruit is not known to many people. The noni fruit, scientifically known as Morinda citrifolia and also referred to as ‘noni,’ is a plant species belonging to the coffee family (Rubiaceae). The noni tree grows mainly in the tropics and is found in many countries, including Vietnam, India, Thailand, and the Pacific islands.
Below are the effects of fresh noni fruit you should not ignore.
Benefits of fresh noni fruit: According to traditional medicine, noni fruit has an astringent taste and is associated with the kidney and large intestine meridians. It is known to have laxative, diuretic, blood-activating, and menstrual-regulating properties. Accordingly, noni fruit is often used to treat constipation, difficulty urinating, regulate menstruation, reduce fever, treat coughs, asthma, and help strengthen the body’s immune system and resistance. In addition, noni fruit also has many health benefits.
Treatment for gout, hypertension, insomnia, constipation, back pain, limb fatigue, menstrual disorders, and vaginal discharge: Take 1kg of ripe noni fruit, wash it thoroughly, slice it (including the seeds), and blend it in a blender with 300ml of 40-degree white alcohol until smooth. Then place the mixture into a glass jar, add 200g of white sugar, seal tightly, and ferment for 7-10 days. Afterward, add 1,200ml of white alcohol and mix well. Filter and squeeze the noni juice for later use. Drink 5ml every day after meals, 2-3 times a day (if you cannot drink alcohol, you can dilute it with warm water).
Treat constipation, stimulate digestion, diuretic, regulate menstruation: Ripe noni fruit: 3 fruits eaten with salt.
Treating soft tissue injuries (sprains, hematomas, painful swelling): Ripe noni fruit, break it in half and apply to the wound, then remove the seeds, crush it, apply it to the painful area and bandage twice a day.
Treatment for dysentery, diarrhea, and fever: Eat 3-5 roasted ripe noni fruits. Alternatively, use the remedy: 12g of noni leaves and 10g of milkweed. Excellent drink.
Treatment of hemoptysis: Noni root (dried) 40g, Thien Mon 20g, Cypress 20g. Excellent drink.
Treatment for hypertension: Brew or decoct 30g of dried noni root daily for 10-15 days as one treatment course. Take a break for 1 week, depending on the blood pressure level at that time, you can continue using the following treatment. When blood pressure has lowered, the next time the dose can be reduced to 10-12g or 6-8g. Can be cooked into liquid paste for later use.
Treatment of back pain, bone pain, peripheral nerve pain: Slice 100g of noni root into small pieces or grind it into coarse powder, then soak it in 1,500ml of 35-degree white alcohol for 4-6 weeks. Let it settle, filter out the residue, and take the soaking liquid. Drink 2-3 times a day, 20-30ml each time before meals.
Cure chronic headaches and migraines: 24g noni root, 12g buffalo cassia, 12g millet, 12g pennywort, 8g bear root (star, soaked in copper). Drink during the day.
Cure insomnia, neurasthenia, and high blood pressure: 24g of noni root, 12g of roasted cassia seeds, 8g of gotu kola, 8g of smilax glabra, 6g of pomelo peel, and 3 slices of fresh ginger. Drink during the day. Drink warm.
